This chair started out as a table - an almost-complete live-edge console table - that had to be set aside due to a 'dimensional miscalculation' (it was cut too short). It was still a beautiful piece of black walnut though, and already had the mitered leg with waterfall grain, so we knew it had to be resurrected somehow. Rather than keep it as a table, we cut it and reworked it into a dramatic tall-backed chair with the waterfall edge front and center. This piece would be a great focal point in an entryway, or as an interesting accent in a living or dining room.
