OC73 Douglas Fir plywood with milk paint wash

This stool is a mix of sharp angles and round organic shapes - the beveled edges of the plywood meet at crisp corners, then pull away to reveal irregular voids of negative space. The whitewashed and sanded finish was a bit of an experiment that actually worked out quite well - it gives an almost sun-bleached look to the surface that plays perfectly with the weathered pebble-like shapes.
