This lamp is an experiment in reusing small scraps of veneer - very thinly sliced strips or sheets of wood that are typically applied to a more solid underlying surface. Pieces of burled veneer are wrapped around a minimal framework and made into a hanging lamp, giving it a rustic lantern vibe. The light inside glows through the wood fibers, showing off the swirling grain patterns.
