This piece is an experiment in using our small hardwood scraps to create a larger surface, laying them up patchwork style into a single solid panel. In this case the panel is then cut and rejoined into a simple coffee table with waterfall legs. A deep red dye wash turns the otherwise jumbled clash of wood tones into a subtler gradient of light and dark hues.
