Ever heard of the 'bandsaw box'? Introducing the 'bandsaw bowl.' These striking layered bowls are new experiments we've been playing around with using an old technique where a board is cut on the bandsaw and rejoined into nesting sections. Here, the method is used to create a floating effect - irregular shapes cut and suspended in ascending layers. These versions in oak are given an ebonized and waxed finish.
